What if I told you that the man who has the best physique of all time doesn’t train like bodybuilders today?
Search up Steeve Reeves, Reg Park, John Farbotnik, Marvin Weills, basically every silver era bodybuilder….
I’ll show you one of my dream physiques here (John Farbotnik).

These are the guys that have the physique I and you dreamed of.
And to achieve that, they have one key to it.
Which is lifting heavy on exercises that build muscle.
Reg Park has a big back because he can row 400 lbs; Arnold has a big chest because he can bench 500 lbs.
Again, the key is to lift heavy on exercises that build muscle.
Arnold said it best.
“I was lucky because in weightlifting you do the very basic exercises… 2-arm curl, snatch, deadlift, bench, squat… and when that is done you got big pec, deltoids, legs, back…”
And now the best way to achieve it is to combine powerlifting and bodybuilding.
This is how it works… Powerlifting builds strength in the lower rep ranges, and then you transfer that strength to bodybuilding movements in moderate rep ranges.
And this is not some BS explanation…
Because there is a reason Reg Park used to do a 1000 lb partial squat to get strong at his leg exercises.
This ‘transfer’ can be explained by something called ‘shocking’ the nervous system; well, you could say it ‘adapts.’
Try to hold, just hold, a 300 lb bar at the top when you’re doing bench press, just for 5 secs.
Then try to do 200 lb with it; you will feel that this 200 lb that you used to struggle with becomes drastically lighter.
That’s how it works.
If you used to deadlift 500 lbs, then when you grab a 200 lb bar, you feel nothing. And that’s your barbell row weight.
This is the reason why powerbuilding works so well (besides that your muscles get bigger and stronger too).
