My mistake that cost me years of gains…

If there is one thing I wish happened when I started working out is…

Hearing Arnold say this:

“I was lucky because in weightlifting you do the very basic exercises… 2-arm curl, snatch, deadlift, bench, squat… and when that is done you got big pec, deltoids, legs, back…”

I was the guy that got into the trap of the fitness Industry…

Always changing exercises every workout because there is something more optimal…

Until this quote change my mind…

Arnold made me realize that those powerlifters who do 300+ lb bench got the biggest pecs in the world.

It also makes me realize that Arnold and golden era bodybuilders don’t do the ‘most optimal’ exercises.

What they do is basic exercises: bench press, rows, overhead press, deadlift, squat, you know it…

What Arnold basically said is…

Just be strong at basic movement. 

That’s it. It will give you results.

And what makes me more enlightened is when I see streetlifters have the most aesthetic physique in the world by just spamming pull-ups, dips, and squats.

And so if you want to achieve your dream physique…

Go heavy and prioritize basic compound movement!
