All great athletes in the world train with high-volume training
In some of my posts on YouTube, I tell a fact that hurt some people…
Because I talk about how Mike Mentzer built his gains using high volume (naturally)…
I can backed it up, because Mike Mentzer only used his HIT system only after 1974.
But before that? He trained 6 days a week, high-volume style. In Hiis first and early years (when he was natural), he trained with high volume. Result? He grew big and won many local bodybuilding competition…
But this didn’t go well, because one of Mike Mentzer’s fans said like so:
“Everyone tried to turn down on Mike Mentzer’s system, but everyone I see on social media, like Jeff Nippard experience his best gains when he switch to high-volume training, and bodybuilders like Lee Lebrada, Mike Mentzer, Ray Mentzer, Casey Viator, (Tom Platz and Samir Bannout in some cases)”
And other people also commented about how I mock Mike Mentzer, and they said I don’t respect him. (Even though I didn’t say anything wrong about him… I just told a fact.)
But let’s be real about the first statement about how everyone experience their best gains when switching and using HIT…
First of all, about the Jeff Nippard thing, it’s the exact same as Mike Mentzer; he built 99% of his gains by doing high volume, then switched for 3 months… and I guarantee he will switch to high volume again. (And I think he never finds out other fitness influencer legends such as Mark Rippetoe, Alex Leonidas, Bald Omni Man, Vald Viking, Atlaspowershrugged…)
And those bodybuilders that got jacked with HIT built their gains using high volume first, then later switch to HIT… (same case as Mike)
Listen, I respect Mike Mentzer because differences are normal.
But his statements that said high volume is only working when steroids are involved is clearly biased and false.
Because there are literally thousands of proofs (including him) that naturals can ABSOLUTELY recover from high-volume training.
Those thousands of proofs includes all the great athletes in the world, such as bodybuilder, powerlifters, strongman, runners, sprinters, and wrestlers… Every great athlete affirms that naturals can recover from high-volume training…
But try it yourself….
