How Arnold got jacked before steroids.

Arnold had a philosophy in his training…

Build the mass first, then sculpt it.

And today we’re going to focus on how Arnold built his mass.

But here’s the thing… Arnold actually didn’t do bodybuilding when he first started.

He instead did powerlifting and weightlifting.

He spams all these basics movements: bench, squat, deadlift, clean, presses, and you know it…

But here’s the surprising part: if Arnold could rewind his time and start training again, he would change anything!.

He would start like he started. Arnold said it like this:

“I was lucky because in weightlifting you do the very basic exercises… 2-arm curl, snatch, deadlift, bench, squat… and when that is done you got big pec, deltoids, legs, back…”

There are basic exercises that, if you go heavy at them, you’ll grow big muscles.

What Arnold want to say is this… Prioritize these movements first, then later go to the details.

I’ll list out the movement:

  1. Squat
  2. Bench 
  3. Deadlift
  4. Pull up
  5. Barbell Row
  6. Shoulder Press (barbell or dumbbell)
  7. Barbell Curl

Do these movements twice a week, and put them first in your workout.

I guarantee, if you go heavy at the basic movements, you’ll grow like never before.
